JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Andrew: Clinton Dannemora holds only the most deadliest
of criminals. On my way up to the facility, I was
driving in with a serial killer who just was
convicted in Rochester. They have death row up
there so that's what kind of inmates there are.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Andrew: You don't avoid them. Violences is a way of life
in priso and sometimes you meet that violence
head on. Other times it will come to you.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Andrew: No, you never have an opportunity like that.
